Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to the Dubwise web application, the website at dubwise.app, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. What you may not do

You agree not to, and not to allow anyone else to:

• upload or dub video you do not own or have the rights to translate and publish;
• clone the voice of a real person, or alter their face or mouth with lip sync, without their explicit consent;
• create deepfakes or content that misleads people about who is speaking or what they said, including impersonating public figures, officials, or organizations;
• use the Service for fraud, scams, election or political disinformation, or to deceive people into giving money, credentials, or personal data;
• produce sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate content, or content that exploits or endangers anyone;
• produce unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or deceptive content;
• infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
• violate the terms of the underlying providers, or use the Service to send spam;
• circumvent the limits of your plan, including by opening several free accounts, or probe, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.

2. Consent and labelling

Keep a record of the consent of the people whose voices you clone or whose faces you lip-sync, and give it to us if we ask. Where the law requires it, tell your audience that the audio or video was artificially generated or manipulated, for example by a note in the video or its description.

3. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the content you upload and for how you use the dubbed audio and video, and for ensuring that this is lawful in your jurisdiction.

4. Enforcement

We may remove content, and suspend or terminate access to the Service, for violations of this policy, as set out in our Terms of Service. To report misuse of the Service, write to support@dubwise.app.
